Refined Vehicle Repairs Ltd – Terms & Conditions
1. Payment Terms
All invoices are payable within 14 calendar days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
2. Vehicle Access & Working Conditions
Customers must ensure that the vehicle is accessible and clean (free from silicone or waxed based products). Refined Vehicle Repairs Ltd reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or reschedule work if these conditions are not met
3. Alloy Wheel Repairs
Where applicable, the customer must provide the locking wheel nut key. Refined Vehicle Repairs Ltd reserves the right to refuse or postpone work if the key is not available.
4. Removal of Wheels
Any wheels removed by Refined Vehicle Repairs Ltd will be refitted and torqued to the manufacturer's recommended settings. Checking your wheel nuts immediately upon collection and taking them to a reputable garage for re-torquing after 50-100 miles is advisable. Refined Vehicle Repairs Ltd accepts no liability for any wheel removal, adjustment, or interference carried out by any third party after completion of the work.
5. Late Payments
Invoices not paid within the 14-day payment period may be subject to interest and compensation charges in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. This is 8% plus the Bank of England base rate at (3.75%) and a fixed recovery fee per invoice of £40. Refined Vehicle Repairs Ltd reserves the right to suspend future services until all outstanding balances have been settled in full.
6. Missed Appointments & Cancellations
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation or call-out fee of £50. Refined Vehicle Repairs Ltd reserves the right to charge for wasted travel time and associated costs where appointments are missed without notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
Refined Vehicle Repairs Ltd shall not be liable for delays caused by material shortages, weather conditions, traffic, supplier issues, or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Refined Vehicle Repairs Ltd's liability for any claim arising from its services shall be limited to the value of the work undertaken.
8. Repair Guarantees
The following guarantees apply from the date of repair:
- 12-month guarantee on all repairs.
All guarantees are subject to the aftercare requirements detailed below and apply only to defects arising directly from the workmanship or materials supplied by Refined Vehicle Repairs Ltd.
9. Aftercare Requirements
The repair guarantee will be void if:
• The vehicle is washed, polished, or subjected to chemical cleaning products within 24 hours of the repair.
• The repaired area suffers new damage after completion of the repair.
• A repair failure or reaction occurs as a result of previous poor-quality repairs not carried out by Refined Vehicle Repairs Ltd, corrosion, contamination, manufacturing defects, or pre-existing conditions outside the control of Refined Vehicle Repairs Ltd.
• The customer fails to follow aftercare instructions provided.
10. Agreement to Terms
By booking, instructing, or accepting services from Refined Vehicle Repairs Ltd, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
